Bridge card

A bridge card is a standard card size of 2.25" × 3.5" (57.15 × 88.9 mm) trimmed — slightly narrower than poker. It's traditional for trick-taking and classic playing-card games where players hold a wide fan in one hand.

Why it matters

Choose bridge when your game has players holding 10+ cards at once — the narrower width makes a fan easier to manage. The visual difference from poker is subtle but the hand feel isn't.

Example

A 13-card hand of bridge cards fans comfortably in one hand; a 13-card hand of poker cards is bulkier. Many trick-takers and traditional decks default to bridge for this reason.
