Tabletop Simulator
Tabletop Simulator (often "TTS") is a digital sandbox on Steam that simulates a physical tabletop — players drag cards, roll dice, and flip tokens with full 3D physics. Designers use it for remote playtesting before paying to print physical prototypes.
Why it matters
TTS shrinks the playtest loop. Instead of printing, cutting, mailing, and waiting, you upload a deck spritesheet and your testers play tonight. The catch is that TTS needs cards in a specific grid format — usually a 10 × 7 PNG with all card faces.
Example
A 54-card deck for TTS is exported as a single PNG spritesheet, 10 columns × 7 rows (70 slots, last 16 blank). TTS slices the grid back into individual cards inside the game.
